Here is a quick look at what I think about the first 4 weeks of this young NFL season:
1. Brett Favre has not lost any passion for the game of football. 6 TD's last week...c'mon, that only happens in Madden games!
2. I do not see the Patriots being very good without Tom Brady. I just dont see that "it" factor with Matt Cassel. Cassel's stats look like this through 3 games: 448 yards passing, with 2 TD's and 1 INT. Cassel MUST get Randy Moss the ball. BYE week came at a great time for the Patriots!
3. Trent Edwards has the Bills in a great position in the AFC East. He very well may lead this team to the playoffs.

InVINCEable? Madden Curse disagrees
When Vince Young was asked by Jimmy Kimmel if he was scared of the Madden Curse, Young replied "I prayed about it and we will see what happens."Has the famous Madden Curse struck again? Vince Young injured his quadriceps running out of bounds against Tampa Bay. I was curious about the other victims of the curse so I found out...
2000: It all started in 2000 when Barry Sanders and Dorsey Levens were on the cover. After this cover was released, Sanders surprisingly retired after only 10 seasons in the NFL. Levens only rushed for 224 yards after he was on the cover. He ran for 1,034 yards in 1999.
Thoughts from Week 6
A few thoughts that may interest you...or not. I just hope you enjoy reading.
-Tom Brady will be in the top three best QB's to ever play the game of football before it is all said and done.
-Vinny Testaverde can still sling that football at 43 years old. He became the oldest starting quarterback to win a game in NFL history. He has thrown a TD pass in 21 straight seasons. Simply mind-blowing!
-Adrian Peterson is the real deal. 224 yards and 3 TD's today against Chicago. He will be Rookie of the Year.
-Is there anyone playing worse than the Rams right now? They are 0-6. Where are you Jax?
defense is key
Tennessee Titans vs. Atlanta Falcons October 7, 2007
This might be the ugliest game I have seen in years…and at the same time one of the sweetest. Along with there being 14 penalties for a total of 106 yards, there were 7 turnovers. Tennessee had 5 and Atlanta had 2. Guess who won? Chances are you are incorrect. Tennessee ended up with the W in this one winning 20 to 13.
Vince Young did not have one of his superior games. He went 20 for 33 for 157 yards and 3 interceptions. From what I saw, he did not look comfortable all day. It may have to do with the Titans coming off a BYE week and they were not in the “groove”. The Offensive line blocked great for Vince, but he was making bad reads all day. When he completed a pass it was always for short yardage. He averaged 7.8 yards a completion. To be successful in the NFL, this stat will have to rise. Young’s best play of the game came on a 20 yard run. Also, it was disappointing to see Young run a poor 2 minute offense. I have seen Young run a good HUO, but not today. Again, maybe it was mental mistakes due to the BYE week. A good clock manager is an attribute that will come in time for Vince Young.
Where Art Thou L.T. and L.J. ?
What is wrong with LaDanian Tomlinson and Larry Johnson? Want to hear some mind-blowing statistics from this season? Let me entertain you for a minute! In three games, Tomlinson has a total of 130 yards rushing and is averaging 43.3 yards a game. His longest run of the season is 11 yards. Even Matt Leinart, which is known as a stationary Quarterback has a twenty yard run this year. Last year, L.T. had more rushing yards in his first game vs. Oakland (131 yards) than he has in 3 games this year. Simply stunning! Lets take a look at Larry Johnson. He has a total of 140 rushing yards thus far.
